Any suggestions?
My insurance has changed and there is no way I can afford the Enbril now (Blue Cross/Blue Shield will pay less than 50% of the cost). It would take almost half my take home pay and with two kids, I just can't do it. If I get too much worse I don't see how I can work, and that's not an option-I'm feeding two teenagers on just my salary.

It's only been two weeks since I ran out of Enbril and I hurt worse, and in more joints than before I started it over a year ago. My fingers are starting to get red and swollen again. The MTX can't keep the P in control by itself either so that is getting worse as well. I am so depressed, I just sit and cry at times. I quess I was just lucky in the screaming deal I had with the old insurance company.
Any ideas? Anyone else having to deal with Blue Cross/Blue Shield?

Hi Becky,
The last time that the subject of high Enbrel related co-payments came up, someone mentioned an assistance program called Patient Services Incorporated or PSI. According to their website:
Thank you, I've been researching and found NeedyMeds but not the others. I will be getting to work to see what I can do. You're very welcome, Becky. I'm glad that I was able to help.
Here are the links to the threads discussing how Sue's (Beachbound) Enbrel related costs got sorted out:

It's something else to look into.
I hope this helps.
