Toddler teeth are yellow + first dental visit?
Over the past month or so, the bottom 4 or 5 front of my DD's teeth have yellowed somewhat. We haven't changed anything in her diet or with her vitamins so I assume that it isn't that. Any ideas what it could be? I'm tempted to take her to the dentist but DH thinks we should wait the 6 months until she turns 3. I really don't want to wait and then have it turn out to be cavities that we might could have prevented by going early but I also don't want DD to have a bad associations with going to the dentist by taking her too early. We try to be proactive and we try not to go to the doctor/dentist for every little thing... :shy
Any ideas about what this could be? Any similar experiences anyone can share with me?

My DD had some gunky, yellow junk on her top teeth at 2. I took her to the dentist and she got her teeth cleaned and it all cleaned off. The visits are not a whole lot of fun at 2 for some kids but I'm not sure waiting 6 months is going to ensure a stress free visit either.
Do you have a pediatric dentist in your area? I think it is worth finding one for a toddler.

I started taking dd when she was about two and I made it as fun as possible. She is now 10 and loves going to the dentist. :nut
