My ds has been getting his 1st year molars for a while now and I think one is finally all the way through. What I'm concerned about is that there is some of his gum stuck in the middle of his molar between the four points and it's starting to turn black. Is this normal? Should I do something about it or will it eventually come off on its own? I brush his teeth but not very hard around the ones that are still coming in and it hasn't dislodged this piece of gum. It's kind of creeping me out.
Any info is really appreciated - I've never seen this mentioned anywhere.
