So my 3yo has all his teeth, but for the last week he's been chewing on his fingers and his front teeth have seperated a bit. One day they were together and the next there is a noticable gap.
Any idea what's going on? Is this just normal stuff? The chewing makes me think he's uncomfortable and I thought after getting all his teeth that would be over.... His 2 year molars have been in for months.

Did he have a recent bump?

well my 8yo brother started chewing his nails constantly around 4 i think...his teeth werre noticeably moving, and when his top new ones grew in, they stick out because of it...hes given up the constant nail chewing for constant chapstick applying because we finally convinced him thats what happned to his teeth to make them stick out....
so well, id think its possible, especially if hes fallen recentl, and maybe they were a tad loose or something and the pressure helped them not go back to normal, kwim??
