Allergies??
I think DS#3 may have allegies to dust or animals...since he's been crawling I've noticed sometimes he'll get red eyes and a runny nose. Also he does the "nose rub" all the time. We used to have cats, but our last cat passed away the first day of spring :( . Though I think the carpets still would have reminence(sp?) of them. When we're at my BF house he has red eyes the most...there he has wood floors and a dog. The thing is he is redoing the outside and tracking lots of dirt in the house! When we get there its a MESS...so I sweep and mop right away before DS has a chance to get on the floor. How will I know if its just the dust or its the animals..
I'm thinking of taking up the carpets in my apartment if that would help.? Anyone have this problem? What has helped? Thanx

Whether it's dust or animals, it means that his boundary systems (like his mucus membranes in his nasal passages) are weakened.
This can happen from immune suppression. Since you're using the "say no to vax" in your siggie, it must not be from vaccines, although there are other immune suppressors.
Has he been on antibiotics? or does he eat alot of sugar?
Either way, you need to see if he has a yeast overgrowth, or at least give him lots of probiotics.
The best thing for these kinds of allergies is really strong anti-oxidants. Pycnogenol is the best one that I know of. Quercetin is another.
Either one of them will heal his nasal passages. My sister used to put pycnogenol into her daughter's formula, and her allergies became non-existent.
Of course, I recommend lots of Vitamin C as well.
