I seen a post before on this I think but couldnt find it. Nasonex was perscribed for my children and I have been giving it to them on and off like every other day and it does seem to help. However I am very nervous about the side effects and what it says about exposure to measles and chicken pox can be more serious or fatal UGGHHH. My dd hasnt been vaxed and of course that makes me nervous. I am doing everythign i can to try and figure out what it is that is bothering them in the house or what ever it is.
My little one they said has eustachian (SP) dysfunction and her ears are full of fluid, her eyes are itch, her ears are itchy, she is constantly clearing her throat What is the lesser of two evils here. I hate perscibtion meds but in some cases they do seem to help but with risks like this what is a MOM to do. They have said they might want to do tubes to get the fluid to drain UGGHH.
I dont like the idea that this is an immune system surpressent but I dont like seeing my kids suffer either. I run a humdifier, I put special pillow cases on her bed and mattress bought the best filters for my furnace and filters for my registers. I dont know what else to do. They werent like this in the summer not even when we went camping. We do have a dog but the dog went camping with us to and they never acted like this even with the dog in the camper. Now I wouldnt mind getting rid of the dog at all if thats the issue.
I am thinking they are also possibly going to do allergy testing on the 2 girls as well.
Thanks for letting me ramble I just want my kids well.
