I am looking for any information about this, especially if anyone here has had it or a relative or friend. My sister was just diagnosed as having this as well as Lyme disease from a tick bite. We're looking for any additional information.

My mom had it two years ago.
It's more of an accute form of a tick illness, and can be dangerous/fatal if left untreated.
My mom was very ill with it and was hospitalized.
But it is gone, and I really don't know too much about it, sorry! I don't think it is long-term like lymes is.
Several years ago, my friend's mother got it, and was the first person diagnosed in the state of MN with it.
