I found out today that I tested positive for Lyme Disease. I've had symptoms for 9 years now. Does anyone have experience with this? Can it cause life long damage with or without treatment (I could be on antibiotics for up to a year and a half.)? I haven't been able to find much on this. If anyone has any links please post them. I've been reading since I got home from the doctor but I'd like to read as much as possible. TIA!!!

...that you load up on probiotics while you're taking the antibiotics.
Otherwise, IMO, the cure might be worse than the illness.

Thanks! This dr. does give Acidophilus. I will check out that thread to see if there's anything else I should be taking.

I don't have any personal experiences with Lyme Disease, but I would highly recommend you do your research before beginning a treatment protocol.
