I hate medical tests, because then you spend the time before you get the results assuming the worst.
Two years ago I had a small breast lump removed, which thankfully turned out to be benign. A follow-up sonogram six months later was negative, and now, a year past that, I was due for another sono. It seemed that there was something there, in the same location as before, because the tech kept running the thing over and over the same spot for a long time, taking lots of pictures of it and measuring it. "It," when I finally decided to look at the screen as she was doing the sono, was a black spot maybe a centimeter or two across.
I know it could be a cyst or a fibroid or something that is no biggie, but I hate hate HATE that I can't know immediately. I'm going to worry for the next few days. :(
