14-mo-old chicken pox
I apologize ahead of time...I'm sure this topic has been discussed to death on this forum....
Dd -nearly 14 mo.s- has a chance to get exposed to chicken pox. I want her to get chicken pox at some point, but I'm not sure if I want her to get chicken pox before she can understand what is going on with her body.
Questions for those of you who have been there:
How painful is it for the toddlers?
How high the fever?
Requre doctor's visit?
How long does it last?
How bad are the pox?
How do you care for a chicen-poxed-out toddler?
Okay. Obviously I haven't done any of my own research on this yet.
Input appreciated.
