when you use the shampoo and medicine does it help keep it from flaring up? and will the color of my scalp go back to normal? Sorry for all of the questions, but i'm kinda scared about it.

Hey, Brad's mom here. Brad's face has cleared up, we don't know why. He really stopped doing all the meds except the otc moisturizers. Body slowed down quite a bit, mostly on lower back now, using Desitin when I can get him to. Problem for him right now is the flakiness in the scalp. Was using Ttree - he said he hadn't used it in a couple days and was using regular shampoo (can't force him to do anthing these days) but does anyone know how to get the sticky flakes out of his hair. He showers in the morning and tries to comb it out, blow dry it out, nothing works.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Sorry Vik, my son is 13 and his P started with scalp. Just itchy, scabby, dry spots at first and then it got much worse. Went to hairline then ears. Then just kept on going.
What you'll learn here is that everyone has different symptoms, different successess. At first when I would read the sites I would freak out over everything, or get excited about something, and now I realize that you try what you can, and pray alot.
Great group of folks on here. Really is like family. Specially on those rough days when you feel alone.
God bless you!
