Okay. I need some advice from teens here..
I was in the middle of a sticky situation..
My friend Mike was dating this girl Caitlin... and they dated for about 3 weeks or so... and then he met this other girl, and though he never like kissed her or asked her out or anything... they hung out non stop, and flirted lots... And his girlfriend thought he was cheating on her (though she didnt know ANYTHING about this other girl... ) because he wasnt returning her calls and stuff... Now, i happened to be freinds with Caitlin, but not super close or anything, we only met when they started dating... and, she asked me if i knew anything about it... And i didnt tell her anything about him "cheating" on her, because i didnt feel that was my place.... I figured, it was his relationship not mine... So i encouraged her to ask him about it... and i encouraged him to tell her about it... but i never told her about it..
Now, last night... she found out about it (from him)... and she also found out that i knew about it... and now, to say the least, she hates me...
What would u have done?! would u have told her about it?!

For whatever it's worth, I think you did the right thing. When things cool down a little bit, try to tell your friend the same thing that you told us; that your were encouraging him to tell her, and hopefully she will understand. Especially since nothing really happened, just some flirting.
I think what you did was just fine though, you didn't do anything wrong.

you did the right thing by remaining neutral and not faovring either side. if you had told her you probably would have gotten mike mad at you. a lot of her reaction is probably because she's upset that her boyfriend and her have gone sour. she'll most likely cool down in a couple of days and everything will be just fine :)

Last night, after i posted that, we continued to talk (okay... pardon me... she continued to yell, and i listened)... And then near the end of the conversation she said "you know what?! Im just pissed off at EVERYONE right now... gimme a couple days, and then we'll talk again okay?!"...
So i really hope that she'll see why i did what i did...

I think you did the right thing. Hang in there while she cools down, and I'm sure you will work through this.

We are now freinds again, and plotting our revenge on Mike:) HAHA..
Nah but, we worked it out, and now we're hanging out and stuff again..
