QUESTION
Ok well, I have been put on prozac about 8 days ago, which is an anti depressant. This is supposed to make me less stressful and nervous. The prozac combined with a new ointment topical that i was using (0.05%) has really helped my P. I noticed that alot of the spots were turning white which means its clear... and I have also heard that once its white, you do not have to use the ointment anymore correct? Well this leads me to this question... If its an ointment that says apply for like 2 weeks which most are..... what do I do? Because I got white spots after 3 days of use.... So I stopped using the ointment on the white spots. I also tan daily.. and I use vasoline for moisturization usually during the MID DAY and often before I go to sleep. So this is my question now.... the spots that turned white are now slightly pink... is this because of the tan that Im getting? I was in the hot sun today and yesterday and the day before. Is it starting to blend with my other skin and I just dont realize it? Or is the P starting to come back on these spots? The white spots(that are now slightly pink)are on my elbows mostly and on the back of my arms. And also.. small plaques on my knees are still bright pink almost red, and I have been using the ointment for about 7 days now... So do I keep using the ointment on those spots? Thanks for the help.
