Where is jgirl? I heard she went on a lemonade fast recently. I am considering doing the same thing. Haven't heard from her in a while - anyone know?

Truth be told, I got tired of fighting and/or having to censor myself here for my extreme views on health and decided to spend my days...as Dulane has accurately stated...having fun! :D I did do the lemonade diet for five whole days, you're supposed to do it for ten, but after day four I was getting too depressed and cranky to work! So I had to go off of it...but I do feel I did a lot of "housecleaning" :p and overall, it was a good experience. I was proud of myself as my longest fast prior was three days, and that was supervised at a retreat. Fasting definitely is best to do though when you can spend all day relaxing. You're not supposed to work out when fasting, not hard anyway, and I was missing my endorphin highs! Strangely, it took four days for me to get hungry, I think your body will tell you when to fast/eat if you listen. Before the fast I has lost my appetite, I took it as a sign. I followed this site:
www.thelemonadediet.com, but truth be told I had better results, as far as p goes with green veggie and watermelon juices. I'm still alittle apprehensive about the efects of maple syrup on blood sugar; besides, it's not a raw food. It's a good starter fast though as it's easy.
PS BEWARE the lemonade diet WILL CLEAN YOU OUT lol.
