Hey, all! I've been wondering for awhile, and have not been to the derm. lately, but has anyone asked about P and tattoos? :p I'm mostly just curious about this, as I've never seriously considered getting one. Has anyone you know with P ever dared to get one? I know that sometimes when I get the flu shot or anything pierces the skin I sometimes develop a little patch or dot of P there. Since getting a tattoo is basically lots of little prickles, would that make someone with P break out? :eek:

I'm sure I'd break out if I got a tattoo, but I really really want one.. :rolleyes: Anyone with tats out there?

I think my step mom has one. She has scalp p. She got it on her ankle. My brother josh was going to, but he was chicken and lacked the money. I didn't like the guy he went to. Guy wouldn't do any original tatts.
I'm going to get one on my back when I get hte money. gotta pay my bills first. Its going to be on my back. I don't have a derm though. I've talked to some. My doc shook his head and said, "Do it if you want. They dont' stay cool forever." hehe. I know what he's talkin 'bout. They get old and wrinkly when you're old and wrinkly.
But yeah, talk to your derm first. They'll know if you can handle it. Some break out and others don't.
oh yeah! almost forgot. Make sure your tatt artist knows about skin disorders and such. The one i'm going to is like "okay. Psoriasis. I know what to do. You'll be alright" while the other was like " I have no idea what you have. I don't think I should give you a tattoo. Yours is too complicated anyway." :D
