Ian's doctor appointment
Sorry it has taken me so long to post the follow up to Ian's doctor appointment.
We saw a new pediatric derm. a few weeks ago. He has left Ian on the same meds. (DesOwen and Fluocinode -- don't think I spelled that right). Dr. Taira has us mixing the DesOwen with Cetaphil lotion in hopes that the combination will help with his really bad dry skin. He has us giving Ian luke warm baths too. We are also using Gention Violet on his open sores. It is helping them heal. We have to go back if he flares again.

Carrie,
I hope Ian does well. Is there anything left in your house that hasn't turned blue yet? LOL

Hi Carrie,
It's always good to hear from you. Thanks for the update. :) Now that that warmer weather is finally here, I hope that the sun works its magic and helps Ian clear. Have you tried giving Ian baths in Aveeno Soothing Baby Bath? (Aveeno doesn't have a website, but here's a link to CVS' description of it: http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/gatew...6&subcatid=2044. You don't need to do it every day, but it's very soothing and will help soften the scales and relieve the itch.
