Hi my name is Michael Gibbs I have been reading messages from your boards. I am from UK.. If that’s allowed. Yes I do suffer quite severely from psoriasis. I’m currently suffering quit severely on my face. I get lots of questions about it everyday. It does get me down sometimes. I consider myself quite strong and try very hard not to let it get to me. I have lots of friends. Most don’t know I have psoriasis. They don’t even ask most of the time. I enjoy going out with them to pubs and clubs. If anyone asks I explain it to them. It does start a good relationship with people I find. I suppose that’s a good thing about the Itchy irritation. I try lots of things to control psoriasis. Sunny Spain is good for it :) . I’m glad I have found this community to easy my greave. It made me feel better already. :) I suppose im not alone in this world. There could be someone round the corner with the same problem but I suppose they try to hide it like I do sometimes. One thing that always makes me feel better is to find other projects to do. Like expanding my knowledge of psoriasis. Also other things… I am a computer Technician In a school of lots of kids. So dealing with people is one of my specialties. This does help! I find hiding away less helpful that just going out there and be bold.

Hey Mike whats new? I am 16 years old and i have had p for 13 years. I use to have it bad on my face. Then i statred to tan and well its goin away. I have little on my face now. My name is Carla, I'm 21 years old. I've got psoriasis on my face too, it's around my nose, in my eyebrows, on my forhead and on my jawline. It's dotted all over the rest of me as well :rolleyes: I have had psoriasis for about 11 years now, I really hate it when it appears on my face :( I find the sun helps too, pity we are not getting much at the moment! I have been using a bit of betnovate on my face which clears it up but it comes back as soon as I stop using it :mad: I would use it all the time but you're not really supposed to use it on your face anyway because it's a steroid cream. Nightmare!! My freinds are really cool about it too, although most of the time I cover up :rolleyes: It does help to explain it to people though, I just get bored with the same old questions all the time :) I'm sure you know what I mean. Anyway, keep posting!
