Coral Calcium -- Update
This is from Sunday's USA Weekend newspaper insert:
"According to its promoters, coral calcium is a high-mineral, highly absorbable form of calcium with magical healing powers. In truth, coral calcium is chemically identical to common calcium carbonate, or Tums, says expert Robert Heaney, M.D., of Creighton University in Omaha. 'The advertising claims for coral calcium are outlandish,' he says. Nevertheless, it's a huge money-making fad. One U.S. maker turns out 80,000 bottles a week at a cost of less that $2 a bottle; it retails for about $30 a pop."
Ouch -- Please pass the Tums!

I'm sure those defending coral calicium will not be swayed by these facts. Mainly because no scientific medical machine that can tell you the exact molecular structure of calcium is able to distinguish what that "magical healing power" is, or understand it.
But as I've never bought coral calicium, not ever put faith in anything called "all natural" I'll just stick with waving my magic wand over my Tums while chanting the Dr. Pagano "I Think I Can" diet and cure myself next week. After I'm cured I'll let you suckers... errr people know of my success of my own personal Cure and sell you a pamphlet for the low price of $29.95.

I hope anyone interested in this won't waste their money. The claims this product makes is amazing and unrealistic. You would think the American public would be more informed by now.
