Hey all you teens!!!
you may have been reading some of the discussions going on the boards about Capitol Hill Day 2005... (if not, here is a link to it: )
Anyways... since i am Canadian, and this "battle" with the government doesnt really have much to do with me, there is not much point in me going to Capitol Hill or writing letters or anything like that. But for you- American citizens... it is definately important! Please, if you need more information about it... be in touch with Joey Shearer of the NPF, or with PJ Leary ... those 2 can both give you some VERY valuable information about it! Please talk to your parents, and consider whether going to Capitol Hill is an option for you... the more people, the more voices, the more effective... And- if you cant make it there... check out post #5 on that thread... and it has a lot of good information about writing letters to reps,etc...

Whats Capital Hill Day?

Capital Hill day is when some of us go to Washington, DC and lobby for addional funds for psoriasis research. I went last year and plan to go again this year. (A 6 year old girl from New Jersey was there with her parents! She was awesome.) I had never done anything like that before and it was a very good feeling. BTW, even if you can't make Capital Hill Day it would be awesome if both you and your parents to write letters to your Congressperson and Senators. You might even want to talk to your teachers about writing letters as a class project.
