Thank you for Psorolin
Thanks to everyone who posted their results using Psorolin. I have had P for over 30 years and tried just about everything for my elbows and knees.
I was reading the posts and the positive results some people were getting with Psorolin and decided to order it and give it a try. It is nothing short of a miracle. While I still have P on my elbows, they have not been this smooth in years. I have a stubborn spot on my knee and it too is much better along with my heels.
Sure hope Psorolin continues to work for me and I am so excited, I wanted to share my experience in the hopes it can help someone else.
Thanks again to everyone who shared their experiences with Psorolin.

Hi jeh9! join the club!....I'm so happy you decided to try it (think if you didn't) I've tried so many things over the years....and if I didn't I would still have P :D I hate to even say what all I've tried and each time I was sure that missing key would work!
One thing I hope you are doing....taking curcumin (unless you are on a blood thinner) also milk thistle for keeping the liver healthy...amd it wouldn't hurt to take EFA's (essential fatty acids) fish oil in AM and flax in PM (or reversed)
P people need the oils....I use cod liver oil for the vit A and D,,,but in the summer I switch to reg. fish oil without the added vitamins so I don't get too much since the sun gives us the D (if you sit out for 10 to 15 mins several times a week)...(never burn...not good for P)
great it is working for you! :D

Hello,
I'm new to this board and have been reading so much about P from this message board. I am happy to know that I am not alone. I think I had P for almost 4 years now but didn't really understand much about the skin disease. I have been through 4 derms and on my way to a new one, this time he specialized in P. My appt is scheduled mid-Jan. I hope he's good.
Meanwhile, I have P on my forehead, scalp, ears, around a spot the size of a quarter on my back and my belly button. I am currently using cultivate cream and petroleum jelly every night on my forehead, scalp, ears, back and belly button. It helps reduced the redness, but it's still scaly. I am depressed about my forehead b/c I can't hide this from public. Tried putting band but it's still doesn't hide everything and I know for sure it's noticeable. I find myself constantly checking my forehead with a mirror. When it gets scaly I applied lotion to it throughout the day...it's frustrating managing P.
I have been reading your comments and suggestions on Psorolin Ointment. You think it is safe to use on my face the forehead?
P.S. I have been in denial about P until I start noticing it creepy on my forehead. It's started with just a tiny itchy spot on my scalp, later I noticed it on the edge of my forehead and hairline...went to the derm and tried tons of topical shampoos and ointment. Nothing seems to work. However, the cultivate cream seems to help for awhile so I am still using this. I am almost completely out and will go back to the derm for a refill - - new derm this time so hope he think the cream is good for me.
so Please let me know if you thin Psorolin Ointment okay to use on my forehead. If so, I will give it a shot and order it ASAP.
Once again, this is my first it time posting and I am happy to join all of you. P does make you feel depressed and you feel you can't talk to anyone. I remembered 4 years ago I had beautiful flawless skin. I didn't need to wear foundation or make up to cover anything on my face. Now, I can't leave the house without wearing a foundation/powder to help cover the redness. I don't know what to do to reduce the scaly skin. No one in my family -- not my parents and siblings have P. I don't know about my ancestors though...maybe they did and now I am the unlucky one!!! I have a son, I hope that he does not inherit this skin disease. I pray every night that he will not inherit. Now, I want a second child, but I kept thinking about P. Will he or she gets it? I love children and I want to bring another one into this world. Again, I just hope and pray that my son and future child will never ever inherit such skin disease like P. It's sad that society plays a major role on looks/appearances. Luckily for me, I'm married and my husband doesn't think less of me. However, he knows I am sad when it comes to looking at my forehead and treating my scalp. I don't show him my scalp and I don't open up too much to him about P. I just don't think he understands what a roller coaster ride and emotion I am going through. I feel only those that have P "really" knows how I feel. That is why I joined the National P Foundation and this message board. I hope and pray there's a cure one day!!! AGain, hope my children do not inherit it.
Thank you in advance for reading my message and hope to get a respond back about applying Psorolin Ointment on my face(forehead). I know it seems to work for some of you that are using for your scalp P.
Thanks!!!

Hi Krystal....I have three grown kids and my husband and I both have psoriasis..... my hubby's both parents had P..... my family had none that I ever heard about! and my kids do not have P
As for the Psorolin! I had P on my forehead (do not pick at it...that makes it worse) and in and around my ears all over my scalp and growing down the nape of neck...plus scattered all over body except from knees down.... try to read some of the alternative and Pagano threads on this discussion!
I know that Psorolin helped get rid of the P...but I'm almost positive that a healthy diet and allergy blood test helped in getting it healed...you have probably read my posts on it I just don't want you to think it was any one thing....I've been clear for a couple months now....once in a while I use the 777 oil on my scalp or the ointment....I like having both of them handy....now I understand there is a soap (bar soap) that some of my friends have tried and they like it....I have never tried it........

Jeh9, I'm so glad it's working for you! I'm impressed with the results we have seen as well. I also hope it continues to work. So many things work and then stop working, so it would be nice to have a safe product that actually does what it's supposed to do long term. I had pretty much lost hope that anything would work to clear up my son's p, especially on his hand, before trying the psorolin. The other thing that impresed me was how quickly I started seeing results. Being told that something might work weeks or months later isn't very encouraging! With the psorolin, I could see a difference, at least on some areas, in a matter of days!
Krystal, you would have to check, but I would guess that the 777 oil is safe for use on the face since it's safe to use on the sensetive genital skin. There is also a psorolin soap. Check out http://www.nutrition4skin.com/ayurvedic/index.htm. I use the oil/ointment on my son's scalp when he develops plaques and behind one ear where it appears every now and then.
Another alternative, though pricey, would be Psoria Gold. I know this product is safe for facial use. Supposedly it helps with acne, scars, wrinkles and age spots as well as p.

I use Psorolin and 777 oil on my face. I use the oil on my scalp, as I feel it applies better than the ointment. I found a tiny little applicator bottle with a tip on it, and I can get the oil where I need it better. I put it on at night and sleep with a towel over my pillow, and wash my head in the morning. I do that 2-3 times a week.
I started using the Psorolin in Oct of this year. So...below I posted that photo...and a photo taken today. I used to go tan (1x weekly) at a local salon...but I don't feel the need to do that anymore. My back is my worst area.

Hi Krystal
i have P on my forehead along the hair line and and also on my face, not to mention other areas such back. As far as i know no body in my family as P. As per ancestors who knows. I have a son and we are in the process of having second child .
I recently ordered Psorolin ointment and have been applying on my face , forehead along the hairline, behind the ears twice a day.Since i am an vaction i don't have to go to work, hence i am appllying once in the morning after shower and once in the night before going to bed. It has been only two days. i don't have the oil yet but will get it soon. so far i haven't had any issues except for the smell but i think you get use to it.
This might be myth but they say skin diseases like P usually skip generations. None of my Grand parents had P both paternal and maternal side.
