I'm not a teen, so I'm not sure you'll be interested in anything I have to offer as I'm an "old lady" to the teens :)... actually I'm in my mid 30's.
As for music...I'm still young at heart and I still like rock music. Yes, I still listen to all the old bands but the new ones as well. I like Nickel Back, Lincoln Park, etc. but I'm still a big fan of Pink Floyd, Ozzy, and I'm really enjoying the new show for Super Nova.
Relationships...married for 13 years to my BF and a true good guy
Hobbies...I'm a Moose nut. I collect tons of Moose ( I have over 250 so far) but I also love camping, nature, painting, crafts, and decorating cakes.
Plans for the future...staying as young as I can so my kid will be able to relate to me, not falling apart physically before my time, and some day finally making it to Alaska. I'd live there now if my hubby would do it but he's a wuss about the cold :)
The world...Too much going on to mention in a single post. There are good things and bad, but hopefully the good will prevail and we will all be able to enjoy this wonderful world that has been provided as our playground. :)
You are very right in stating that we are all here to meet people, make new friends, and also to support and encourage one another. I encourage you to continue posting. You will meet some friends here, I'm just wondering if some of the teens aren't out on summer vacations or something right now. Don't give up though. Keep those posts coming. hey! im mariah, 15 years old and i live in tucson, arizona. heres some stuff about me:
what kind of music i like:
-the dixie chicks (i cant help it, i was raised on country and they are amazing anyway)
-rilo kiley
-the moldy peaches
-showtunes and musicals
-straylight run
-weird al
and all of the normal stuff everyone listens to on the radio
hobbies:
-i am the biggest theater geek ever
-i have pet rats and i love them with all my heart
-i love animals and i volunteer with a SAFE (saving animals from euthanasia)
-im a vegetarian liberal and i consider myself an activist but i dont fit all the usual stereotypes everyone has of a dirty hippie
-reading, i absolutely love reading
relationships:
-none to speak of right now, i havent really ever had an offer i wanted to take someone up on but someone will come along eventually
plans for the future:
-thinking about being a high school english teacher, advertising exec, or something to do with animals
-hoping to get into the U of A or maybe a school in Cali or New York
what is going on in the world:
-personally, i think theres hope, although alot of things that are happening dont look very good right now
-generally against war but i do believe that in very rare cases violence is the only option. but i am compeletly opposed to violence and i whole-heartedly believe that non violence is the way to go
-the president: lets just not go there.

plans for the future (near future): figure out my career path, volunteer more, find a somewhat decent priced apartment back home, my husband to get on a good police force in OC.
what's going on in the world: we need out of Iraq soon, and the military needs to take better care of it's men/women and families.

Daniel, 30, is the love of my life and moving down here in about 3 weeks, visiting tomorrow ^^() I plan to marry him and have his kids...Not sure if it'll go in that order tho. :)
Future Plans:
Probably going back to school, or being a stay at home wife and mother.... Possibly selling some of the jewelry I make. And I want to publish a book of my poetry.
Going on in the World:
Mutant midgits are attacking peru on a daily basis, and molesting innocent penguins at night, and now a secret society is infiltrating the FBI and trying to bring them down thru tooth decay and soda pop bottle caps. But you didn't hear it from me
